WHAT WE DO

Home Care Services are provided FREE of charge. Our aim is to help patients with much needed physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and social support.

Caregivers are taught basic nursing skills. This ensures that the patients are well cared for while at home.

OUR MISSION

CARE

To provide the best possible Hospice and Palliative Care and Services to our patient’s consonant with modern hospice concepts and according to their needs and our ability.

ASSIST

To alleviate the problems of the care givers and their families by helping them cope and by providing support.

PROMOTE

To promote public awareness regarding the needs of cancer patients not responsive to curative treatment.

TRAIN

To provide training and educate the volunteers and health professionals on modern concepts of Hospice and Palliative Care.

Medical and nursing equipment like wheelchairs, commodes, beds and oxygen concentrators are loaned to the patients when necessary. Our services also involve symptom control, “supportive listening and understanding” – or to simply be with the patients. The activities of the various parts of Pertubuhan Hospice Negeri Sembilan depend greatly on the contributions of volunteers. In turn, the volunteers find personal enrichment through being part of the community of care that serves people of all ages.
